AIR & SUN
Living on the 6th floor, our airy apartment overlooks a long park and is flooded with sunlight in the morning. To maximize the ideal conditions for plants to thrive, I put a few layers of greenery from the balcony into the living room, grouping them according to their needs. Having lived under the Mediterranean sky for a while before moving back to Vietnam, we have always felt a fondness for terracotta and tropical plants. The place is styled with a Scandi-Bohemian mix to create a cosy space that reflects our family’s personality.
BALCONY
The small balcony is ideal for a short outdoor break, enjoying the view and sun, having a coffee, or simply feeling the air. The Bucida plant adds height and necessary shade, while hanging plants frame the space. On the lower level, Calathea and Philodendron plants thrive in the indirect sunlight, adding beautiful texture, shapes and colors.
KID’S ROOM
Just as adults thrive in aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces, children are even more profoundly affected by their surroundings. We believe that a well-designed kid’s room, meticulously crafted with creativity, aesthetics, and an organised system in mind, can foster learning and development.
Our kid’s room features three-dimensional structures such as multi functional climbing walls and a play fort with swing, providing opportunities for physical activities and imaginative play. These elements encourage the child to explore heights, evaluate safety, and transform the space into various play scenes, such as a camping spot, a supermarket, or a construction site.
This engaging environment encourages children to spend long hours exploring different areas, practicing independent skills, and developing confidence in a comforting space they can call their own.
DISPLAY & PLAY
An open system for toy display and rotation proved to be a magical key to maintaining a versatile and engaging playroom. By utilising open shelves for books and toys, ensuring purposeful display and easy access, categorising activities, and rotating the toys on display, the playroom seamlessly transforms into a dynamic space that adapts to the child’s evolving interests and needs.
