Synopsis
An American couple who divide their time between the vibrant cities of Saigon and New York, have recently moved into a spacious apartment with breathtaking views. Captivated by the panoramic vistas through the large windows, they have brought a few cherished pieces of furniture and are seeking Aykla’s expertise to transform the space into a cozy and inviting sanctuary. The couple desires a home that not only showcases their unique lifestyle but also reflects their personal style and creates a welcoming atmosphere where they can relax and unwind.
Style
We suggested an interior design that blends the classic elegance of Indochina style with a modern, industrial aesthetic. This fusion perfectly complements the couple’s cosmopolitan lifestyle and their appreciation for both Eastern and Western cultures.
The design aims to capture the cool, urban vibe of the city while incorporating traditional Indochinese elements.
Design
The cement effect wall paint ties everything together, creating a calming and spacious atmosphere that feels both stylish and cozy.
Carefully selected pieces, including decorative lightings, artwork, indoor and outdoor furniture, cushions, and planters, contribute to the overall design aesthetic we envisioned.
Plants
Plants are strategically placed throughout the apartment, adding a touch of nature’s beauty and fragrance while serving practical purposes.
On the balcony, they create a natural screen for privacy and transform the space into a miniature garden, filled with various shapes, fragrances, and vibrant colors. Additionally, plants can cleverly disguise any unsightly doors or architectural elements.
We carefully selected low-maintenance plants that are well-suited to the local climate, ensuring their longevity and ease of care.
